Jarkko joined Laine IP in 1997 . He works as European Patent Attorney on the ICT & mechanics team.
Jarkko has particular expertise in the jurisprudence of the European Patent Office as well as the case law of its boards of appeal, and he is happy to handle opposition and appeals cases before the EPO.
Jarkko holds a MSc degree in electrical engineering. At the Helsinki University of Technology, he studied semiconductor technology, applied electronics, instrumentation and some work psychology. He has gained study expertise for the patent field alongside his work through, among other sources, CEIPI training and courses abroad.
